A post-medieval lead-alloy uniface token, probably dating to the 17th or 18th century AD. The token is flat and circular in shape with a small casting sprue extending from its circumference. The upper surface is decorated with a raised, cross-hatch design. (Powell type 7.) The reverse is blank.
Diameter: 21.70 mm. Weight: 6.38 g.

Notes:
Lead tokens are difficult to date precisely and could be Medieval to Post Medieval in date (1250-1800 AD). The majority of lead tokens are thought to date to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, c. 1600-1800 as increasing numbers of dated tokens are found.
