An incomplete struck tertiary flint flake, probably of Neolithic or Bronze Age date (c. 4000-750 BC). The flake is broadly sub-rectangular in form and has been struck from a nodule of dark brownish black flint, and is completely unpatinated. Most of the platform has splintered away, while the flake itself seems to have broken on detachment. There are two dorsal arrises on the upper surface of the flake, while the prominent bulb on the ventral side hints at hard hammer percussion. Edge damage is visible down both edges. It measures 44.86mm long down its percussion axis, 29.05mm wide at its widest point, and 6.84mm thick at its midpoint. It weighs 13.40 grammes.
