Obverse description: Doge kneeling before saint holding vertical banner.

Obverse inscription: LE.LAV S.M.V.

In exergue: XAT or DVX retrograde

Reverse description: Christ or saint standing facing holding cross.

Reverse inscription: LAVS. TI BI.SOLI

John Naylor kindly notes that the piercing at 12 O'clock reverse is above the figure of Christ, and therefore recommends that the object should be considered as having been converted from coin to religious amulet and, given its age and material, should be submitted to the Treasure process, ref. TBC
