Incomplete late medieval/ post medieval copper alloy cauldron leg, consisting of the foot and ankle.
The foot is a parallelogram in shape (38.5x22.5mm), the longest edge (at the front) being ever so slightly concave. A small lump at the centre above this concave edge suggests a mid rib, but it has thinned to a narrow bump at the break (30mm), possibly recent.
Much of the surface is blackened. Weighs 66.25g.
