Treasure reference no. 2016 T880: a medieval silver brooch pin. The pin shank is circular in section and tapers to a point. A small oval collar is located at the head of the pin, from which extends an incomplete loop of flat section.
Discussion
This pin would have formed part of a large silver annular brooch, similar to Treasure reference no. 2016 T358, and others in Egan and Pritchard 2002: 219..
