Medieval lead pot mend, one plate roughly oval (34 x 17.5mm), the other sub-trapezoidal (43 x 12 -17mm). Pottery (thickness 4mm) within the cleft is probably Grimston ware with glaze on the oxidised exterior. The larger plate was placed on the outer face. Overall thickness 14mm. 13th - 15th century.
