Small fragment of a medieval copper alloy C- or L-sectioned pendent loop from a purse frame, broken at both ends, one across an attatchment hole. The outer face is engraved with an oblique lattice in which some niello inlay remains. Ward Perkins 1940, Type A. Extant length only 38mm. c.1450 - c.1500.
