Copper alloy unidentified object fragment. Cast round section bar of diameter 5.6mm, tapering slightly towards an stylised acorn terminal with a cup with diagonally incised or wrythen ornament and a small nut. Slightly upturned at the terminal. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.

This object was formerly reported as a probable purse bar fragment. However, David Williams kindly notes: 'this is not related to purses'.
