Copper alloy furniture fitting. Cast surround from a keyhole with a thicker horseshoe shaped element framing the upper part and a narrower U shaped loop below. A pair of round rivet heads of diameter 3mm marks their meeting. Traces of black paint or oil appear on the edge. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900.
