Lead window came fragment with glass. A fragment of milled H section window came from the meeting place of four panes of white [i.e. colourless] transparent glass of pane thickness 1.6mm. The union of panes appears to have been consolidated with a blob of solder front and back. The gutters of the came are up to c.2.5mm wide. The use of milled came is characteristic of the post-medieval period. The thin glass pane may have been more suitable for an item of glazed furniture than for a window, and the lack of any iridescent decay products may suggest a metal mix of recent date. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.

Length: 19.0mm, Width: 18.8mm, Thickness (overall): 6.8mm, Weight: 7.34gms
