Post Medievl lead alloy button, low, domed shape with raised, cast decoration. This consists of a small central pellet surrounded by a ring around which is a series of looped elements, a ringed dot, a figure of 8 and other elements too damaged to describe. The integral loop is set on top of a transverse casting seam. Probably seventeenth century. Diameter 18.2mm, Height (of button) 4.5mm, Mass 9,28g.
