The object has a flattened D shaped section. At one end is a rounded finial, separated from the main part of the object by a transverse groove. At the other end of the object is what might be a highly stylised animal's head, a diamond shaped area with a central hollow, This is flanked by what might be two trianagular 'ears'. Beyond this is transverse groove and a narrow projection. The date and function of this object are unknown. Length 32.0mm, Width 7.5mm, Thickness 3.0mm, Mass 2.66g.
