Medieval silver half penny of Edward IV, probably second reign dating to AD 1471. Probably Class XII with short cross fitchee initial mark. North (1991:95) no.1667. Withers type 1. The reverse shows evidence of double striking which can appear like extra pellets in the field but the size suggests a light coinage issue.
