An incomplete Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy small-long brooch of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 500 - 600. The head is square in plan with four depressions, one in each corner. From the centre of the lower edge a D-sectioned arched bow extends terminating in a break. The bow has two sets of decoration in the form of grooves. On the reverse there are the mountings for a pin, on the square and on the bow. The metal has a mid-green patina.
