A fragment of a wheelmade ceramic vessel of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1700. The fragment is a base and part body sherd of a Cistercian Ware vessel, possibly a two handled beaker. It has a reddish fabric with a dark-brown glaze on both interior and exterior surfaces. A patchy glitter effect is present on the outer glaze.
The fragment is 49.3mm long, 46.6mm wide, 23.3mm thick and weighs 27.1g.
