A hoard of three Iron Age silver units of the East Wiltshire group dating to the period c. 50-35 BC.
1) Silver unit of the East Wiltshire group dating to the period c. 50-35 BC. Six-Spoked Pellet Ring type. Diameter: 11.95mm. Weight: 0.75g.
Obverse type: Moon head facing right, large star on chin, pellet hairline, ring in place of lips.
Reverse type: Double-tailed horse facing left, two pellets and large wheel above.
Reference: ABC 2125 / BMC 3019-20.
2) Silver unit of the East Wiltshire group dating to the period c. 50-35 BC. Wanborough Wheel type. Diameter: 12.13mm. Weight: 0.71g.
Obverse type: Highly stylised moon head facing right, central boss on face, lines and pellet for hair.
Reverse type: Double-tailed annulate horse facing left and rump, large four-spoked wheel above, pellet in each quarter.

3) Silver unit of the East Wiltshire group dating to the period c. 50-35 BC. Upavon Moon Head type. Diameter: 11.87mm. Weight: 0.91g.
Obverse type: Moon head facing right, three crescents for hair, pellet hairline, stalk lips, wheel in front of face.
Reverse type: Horse facing left, feather tail, small ring and large wheel below, small ring and two large bosses above.

Notes:
These coins were discovered scattered in an area 50 metres by 50 metres. Hoards can be scattered in excess of 50 metres through agricultural activity. As an example 2011 T6 was scattered in excess of 100 metres. As these coins were found scattered in close proximity contain more than 10% precious metal and is over 300 years old. Consequently, in terms of age and precious metal content, the object qualifies as potential Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
