A fragment of a thin plano-convex ('slug') knife of later Neolithic early Bronze Age date c. 3300-1000BC.
The fragment survives only as the butt and middle section of the knife. The dorsal side is covered in scaled semi-abrupt flaking. The ventral face is flat but has a clearly pronounced bulb of percussion is quite pronounced, suggesting heavy hammer thecnology. No clear conchoidal fractures, althoguh this is likely due ot heavy patination. The break appears to be fairly recent and accidental. The entire flint is patinated white except at the break and the edge which have been heavily abraded.
