Copper alloy fragment, possibly of an early medieval stirrup mount, AD.950-1100. The piece has a part of a circular central design with zoomorphic traits. Part of the edge of the piece has a narrow flange that runs around the exterior circumference of the circle. The design was originally openwork with several holes pierced through it.
