Incomplete and abraded Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Rearhook brooch with the pin, the spring and the lower end of the bow and most of the catchplate missing. The decoration on the wings is worn. A knurled median rib on the D-sectioned bow is flanked by a pair of grooves. Wingspan 18.3mm. Extant length 31.8mm. c.43 - c.65.
