Copper alloy possible buckle fragment. Cast slightly curved plano-convex fragment with moulded segmental vermiform detail and a longitudinal mid rib. Possibly from a snake buckle, a form of fastener current from the 16th to 20th centuries; the accompanying finds would indicate a more recent date is probable. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1900.
