Medieval copper alloy composite folding clasp, deep cut-sheet trapezoidal frame (length 14mm, width 15mm), perforations with separate narrowed bar for folding end (length 10mm, width 14mm), frame slightly recessed for rectangular plate which is also recessed and folded widthways, with copper alloy rivet in rivet-hole at spung attachment-end (length 44mm, width 11.5mm). Combined length 35.5mm. See Egan and Pritchard 1991, fig.78, nos. 564-6. 13th-14th century.
