Medieval to Post Medieval ceramic vessel body sherd with no abrasion. The reduced fabric has a dark grey outer face and an orange buff inner face. It can be scratched with a pin. The exterior face has a covering dark brown, almost black glaze. The fabric has a number of inclusions and very occasional voids, both mostly about 1mm in size. Probably dates from c1400 to c1750 AD, most likely 16th or 17th century.
The length is 23mm, width 17mm, thickness 6mm, and the weight 2.98g.
