Medieval (13thto 15thcenturies) ceramic jug handle: The handle is probably made with Malvernian glazed ware. This type of pottery dates to the 13th Century, and is Fabric No. 53.1 in the Worcestershire Ceramics online database.
The handle is decoration with vertical slash marks in a column. There are also traces of a green-yellow glaze on the outer face of the handle.
The handle is 17.76mm thick, 51.48mm long and 40.74mm wide and weighs 38.77g
