A complete copper-alloy As or Dupondius of Vespasian, dating c. 72-73 AD. Reece period 4, mint of Lyon or Rome. Reverse; Eagle on globe with head turned right, S-C in fields. RIC vol. II, p. 145, no. 1202. The coin is preserved in reasonable condition, with an even brown patina covering most of its surfaces.
