Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Rearhook brooch, with the spring, the pin, one wing, the outer end of the other, the tip of the rearhook and much of the catchplate missing. The wing is decorated with bead and reel, and the flat-backed and gently convex-fronted bow with a pair of knurled median grooves. Length 34mm. c.43 - c.65.
