An incomplete cast lead-alloy modern (c.1917-c.1950) bag seal. The object is fan-shaped when laid flat, with the circular main body tapering to a square stud, though this appears to be due to being worn away. The obverse depicts a mullet with hatched diagonal lines radiating from its outline. This design is probably representative of the Communist star symbol. The reverse appears undecorated. The object has a white patina and almost the whole surface is encrusted with dirt. Overall the object measures 15.4mm long, 15.6mm wide and 0.4mm thick.
