A fragment of gold jewellery, probably a hollow bead from a necklace or earring dating to the Roman period. It comprises a piece of folded sheet. Three edges of the sheet are bent onto the reverse face and there appear to be horizontal ribs of stamped decoration on its surface. The sheet measures 7mm in length, 9mm in width and 1mm thick. The sheet weighs 0.51 grams.
