A 4th century Roman Nummus of the House of Constantine, c. AD 330 - 335. A commemorative coin in the honour of Constantinopolis. The obverse shows a helmeted bust of Constantinopolis facing left and wearing imperial mantle and holding sceptre with the inscription: CONSTANTINOPOLIS. The reverse shows Victory standing right, foot on prow, holding sceptre and leaning on shield. In: ex, TRP. Mint - Trier.
