Roman copper alloy pennanular finger ring, distorted and rather abraded. The hoop, which lacks a bezel, is flat and tapers to gently pointed terminals. Engraved rocker-arm decoration comprises ten or more transverse lines and a line along both edges. Cf. examples from Narford and Hindringham, Norfolk (NMS-0BCCC8 and NMS-6BB780). External diameter c.21mm. Thickness 1.2mm. Maximum width 9.9mm. 3rd - 4th century.
