A medieval groat of Edward IV, First Reign (1461-1470), light coinage (1465-1470) Minted at London with Crown initial marks North no.1570.

Obverse.: Bust crowned. Quatrefoils by neck and trefoils on cusps. Saltire stops in Legend. Legend.: 'ED[W]ARD DI GRA.REX.ANGL.Z FRANC'. Reverse.: Long cross dividing legend in two concentric circles, three pellets in each quarter. Legend.:POSVI/DEVM.A/DIVTOR/EMEVM - CIVI/TAS/LON/DON. Some very Minor nicks, wear and possible clipping around the circumference, but apart from that coin remains very fine.

Measurements: 26.34mm in diameter, 0.77mm thick and 2.88g in weight.
