An incomplete copper alloy mount dating from the post-medieval period, c. 16th-early 17th century. The mount is circular with a flat reverse and three triangular lugs on the back to fasten it to cloth/leather. The obverse is domed with six circular shapes which were all framed by twisted wired, a decoration very often seen on Tudor beads or pin heads, such as DEV-FA8131, BUC-ACFB93, DOR-AC2945, The circles may have held some additional decoration, such a smaller domes (as in BERK-832BA6) or additional wire decoration, eg. LANCUM-C10661.

NB: This is a rally find that was not seen by the FLO in person. Images and findspot information were kindly provided by the rally organiser.
