A medieval, cast copper-alloy rectangular buckle. The frame and strap bar are rectangular in cross-section. The forward edge is expanded and is decorated with two transverse, incised lines with a pin-notch in the centre. The strap bar is slightly narrowed with a central notch to accomodate the pin loop. The pin is missing. There are the remnants of casting sprues, two on each side of the frame.
