Post medieval (14th to mid 17th century) spoon: The terminal and most of the stem remains of the copper alloy spoon. The terminal is an acorn. The stem is oval in section and gradulay expands towards the lower broken edge. The surface has a red-brown matte colour with traces of a dark green patina.

The object measures 69.85mm in length and 5.58mm in thickness. The object weighs 10.3g.

Generally spoons with decorative finials are dated to the 14th to mid 17th century Geake (Geake 2001Finds Recording Guide 1.1unpublished p. 77).
