A Post Medieval silver coin; a sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603), third issue (AD 1583 - 1603), tun mint mark (AD 1591 - 1595) dated 1594. See North (1991) Volume 2, number 2015 on page 137. The coin is slightly bent. It is 23.6mm diameter, 0.7mm thick and 2.05g.
