A Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle. The frame has pointed ends. There are lobed protrusions on either end of the strap bar. The outside edge is bevelled The buckle is identical to No. 513 in Whitehead. Buckles of this type date to c.1570-1700. The buckle measures 46.22mm in length, 24mm in width and is 1.93mm thick. It weighs 7.13 grams.
