A piece of copper alloy probable casting waste of unknown date, probably Post Medieval to Modern. The object is a sub-circular casting well, concave on the upper face and convex on the lower, with an oval sprue projecting from the bottom. The surface is rough. It is 25.7mm diameter, 12.7mm tall and 14g.
