An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1350-c. 1650).
The pin is missing.
The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear. Each loop is similar in size, oval in plan and bevelled internally on the upper face. The narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section.
This frame is green with patches of a darker green patina and iron staining on the bar.

Similar buckles have been published and dated c. 1350-1650 (Whitehead 2003: 53).
