A complete cast lead uniface medieval token. Powell type 14, linear cross with pellets. A crude cross divides the face into four unequal quarters, with a large pellet in each quarter. A line runs across the face, roughly following the diameter. Fletcher (2005, p 40-41) suggests this design could be 15th century, inflenced by conteporary coin design, but notes similar designs are also found on base silver Tudor farthings. The reverse is blank.
The token weighs 7.69 g and has a diameter of 19.5 mm.
