Lead alloy button. Cast discoid plano-convex button front with a central knop surrounded by short incised radial lines terminating at a broad plain border. Rust stains on the back may suggest the loss of a separate drawn iron wire loop. A grey tint may arise from tin in the metal mix. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700.
