An incomplete copper alloy harness mount dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1700. It commenes is an old break which is heavily worn. The top edge is curved and has a maximum width of 21.05mm. At the widest point is is decorated with three parallel horizontal grooves. The uppermost groove is spaced widely from the middle groove. The lowermost groove is spaced narrowly from the middle groove. It then tapers to a minimum width of 4.89mm and expands into a rounded knop 6.82mm wide. The knop is decoated with three evenly spaed parallel horozontal grooves. The back of the mount is slightly concave.
A similar example on the database is WILT-B95A05.
The mount measures 30.81mm in length, 21.05mm maximum width, 4.89mm minimum width, is 2.64mm thick and weighs 4.01g.
