Copper alloy strap fitting. Cast trapezoid strap loop with an integrally cast external rivet projecting from one side. The rivet retains a round sheet metal rove of diameter 5.7mm and thickness 0.7mm. The longest side, opposite that with the rivet, is lightly bevelled. Suggested date: Medieval, 1270-1400.
