A dark blue glass bead of unknown date. It is annular with a D-shaped cross-section and has a fairly large (4.3mm diameter) central circular perforation running between the two flat faces. Circumferential striations are visible in the glass. It is 10.2mm diameter, 5mm thick and 0.61g.
It is impossible to date a bead of this type without further context or dating evidence. They have been found in Roman and Early Medieval contexts but are also found from the later and onward into modern times. Compare YORYM-EDA868
