An incomplete silver Finger ring (two pieces) of Medieval date (AD 1300-1399). The object is in two distorted fragments and is composed of a rectangular sectioned band with expanded, shoulders and in integral, protruding square bezel on fragment 1 which is decorated with an incised design consisting of a central pellet and four radiating lentoid lines to for a flower. The outer face of the band is decorated with an incised linear pattern. The decoration on both shoulders is composed of an outer lozenge with four inner lozenges with a central punched in each. Below the shoulders the band forms a square panel on both sides, which are decorated with a central circle and six radiating lentoids to form a flower. Below the panel the band continues and the decorative pattern is a repetition of that on the shoulder. A small portion of the band appears to be missing and all breaks are old and abraded. The inner surface of the band in undecorated and bears no makers mark.
