A highly worn and abraded/clipped silver long-cross penny of Edward II (r.1307-1327), class 14 dating, North 1065, c.1317-1320. Minted at Durham with a lion initial mark under Bishop Beaumont.

Obv: Facing bust with with wide crown, tall fleur and no central ornaments. Leg.: '[+EDWAR R ANGL DNS HY]B', lion initial mark. Rev: Long cross dividing legend with three pellets in each angle. Leg.: '[CIVI/TAS/DUN/ELM]'. Both sides of this coin are very worn much of the detail is obscured, coin is also highly abraded or clipped around the circumference, reducing its size and removing the legends

Measurments: 16.26mm in diameter, 0.82mm in thickness and 0.66g in weight.
