A highly worn silver short cross penny of Henry II (r.1154-1190), of class 1b (North No. 963) or class 2 (965) minted at London by Ravl between 1180AD - c.1189AD.

Obv: Facing bust with sceptre, 5 pearl crown, crescent hair curls, [more curls right]. Leg.: '[HE]NR[ICVS.]R/EX'. Rev: voided short cross with quatrefoils in each angle. Leg.: 'R[A]VL.ON.[LV]ND'. Both sides of this coin are very worn much of the detail is obscured.

Measurments: 20.91mm in diameter, 0.86mm in thickness and 1.19g in weight.
