Incomplete copper alloy sword belt fitting dating from the post-medieval period (c. 16th-17th century). The sword belt fitting/hook had a moulded geometrical decoration on the obverse and a rectangular (now broken) loop on the reverse. It is very worn and the surface shows corrosion. In the moulded crevices on the obverse it retains some tinning/gilding.
