A Post Medieval (c.1500-1800) complete cast copper-alloy crotal bell.
The bell comprises two hemispherical domes divided horizontally by a circumferential ridge. Both hemispheres are decorated eight incised petals, there may have been diamonds between, the design is badly degraded. The upper hemisphere has two circular sound holes; the larger hole has slight damage. The rectangular integral suspension loop, which projects from the apex of the upper dome, has an ovoid hole below. The lower hemisphere has a sound slit with circular holes at the ends, the iron clapper is insitu.

R Blunt's (undated) work suggests, based on the one piece design, drilled suspension loop and decoration on both hemispheres, a date from the 16-17th centuries AD.
