A cast lead alloy token or tally dated (AD) 1701. The token is bifacial with the obverse depicting an animal, possibly a cow, advancing left with head facing and tail upright. The body of the animal has cross-hatched patterning and is curved. There is a saltire above the animal's back. At the top of the token is a panel of linear decoration in the form of a horizontal ladder. The whole design is contained within a raised circular border The reverse of the token is divided into three sections; the ladder panel at the top and bottom of the token with the issuer's initials and a date between, each within it's own panel over two lines. The initials read T B and the date reads 1701.

This is the fourth token of the hatched cow design from the same area. Token BERK-0B82DD has the initials T C and the date 1690, token ESS-6AE150 has the initials R W and the date 1693, and token SUSS-5C4021 has the initials K (?) and the date 1692. All were found within a three kilometers (two miles) radius. While the initials and dates on all tokens differ, the hatched cow design indicates a common and local theme. The initials may represent local landowners and the image of a (probable) cow may be a reference to cattle farming. Further research is underway.
