Lead fragment bearing a moulded inscription. Cast fragment of a small plate of thickness 1.3mm with its sides converging to a curved top with an off-centre longitudinal ridge on the back which aligns with a small projecting apical tab. The lower edge is broken cleanly, probably in antiquity. The display face bears moulded Roman numerals: XVII / XVIIII. Patinated overall. Suggested date: possibly Roman, 43-410.
