An incomplete copper-alloy buckle with integral plate, probably a spur buckle, of Medieval date. Only parts of the plate and the bar survive, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The plate is rectangular in section, triangular in form, tapering towards old breaks at both attachment and frame ends. At the centre of the frame end is a large central circular pin slot, the rest of the frame now incomplete. Single central circular rivet holes are visible at each end of the plate, which is undecorated. It measures 21.53mm in length, 12.17mm in width, 1.87mm in thickness, and 1.42g in weight. This is an incomplete buckle, probably from a spur, of Medieval date, c.12th-14th centuries AD.
